Richard Mancini

Associate Professor


Richard Mancini joined the Department of Animal Science at the University of Connecticut in 2005 and currently serves as Associate Professor of Animal Science. His teaching focuses on meat and food science, with courses spanning anatomy and physiology, food science, animal food products, and scientific writing. His area of research expertise is meat science.

Through his teaching in Animal Science and related programs, Dr. Mancini provides students with educational experiences in the biological and food sciences, including the study of animal food products and scientific communication.
